Catherine Zeta-Jones: Owning four homes in three countries “isn’t excessive”

According to CinemaDrame News Agency, Wednesday star Catherine Zeta-Jones says that having four homes across three countries is not “too much” and that she feels “comfortable” in them. The Mask of Zorro actress, who has been married to Michael Douglas for 25 years, owns two homes in New York, one in Canada, and another in Spain.
In an interview with The Times of London, Zeta-Jones explained: “I know it sounds very grand, but I like to be surrounded by beauty, and it’s not excessive—it’s very comfortable.”
She feels so at ease that the couple even keep their Academy Awards in separate houses. The 55-year-old actress, who won the Oscar for Best Supporting Actress in 2003 for Chicago, said: “Mine is at our country home in New York. Michael’s is in our New York apartment. We keep them apart, so they don’t misbehave.” Douglas, 80, won his Oscar for Best Actor in 1988 for Wall Street.
Zeta-Jones currently stars as Morticia Addams in Netflix’s Wednesday, the first part of its second season having recently premiered. She is also filming the series Kill Jackie and will appear opposite Natalie Portman in the upcoming film The Gallerist.
